1. 하나님을 만나는 것은 직접적이고 구체적이며 절대적인 영향을 갖는다.
2. 말씀은 보잘것 없는 씨앗과 같지만,
그 맛이 씨앗 맛은 아니고 포도송이처럼 단 맛이다.
말씀을 접할 때 그것은 내 속에서 열매 맺으며 자라난다.
하나님의 나라가 나의 내면 안에서 확장된다.
3. 거듭남
자궁 안에 있던 내가 지금의 세계를 인식하지 못했던 것처럼.
그 곳에서는 지금과는 다른 방식으로 살아가고 행동했던 것처럼.

주님의 임재를 기억하는 시간이었다. 매주 반복되는 예배에 나로서는 거룩하고 광대하신 주님을 회중과 함께 만난다는 기대도 없이 일상처럼 그 자리에 있으려 했다. 그러던 중 예배에 마음이 있는 쪽은 나보다 주님이시라는 생각을 하게 되었고 내가 어떻든 상관없이 주님은 늘 거기 계셨다는 생각에 숨이 멎는 것 같았다.
